Virtual Play – High School – Spring 2020
Virtual Play for High Schoolers (Online)
Welcome to "3T Zoom Theater," an exciting hybrid of traditional radio theater and today's cutting-edge podcasts! In this 7-week workshop, students will virtually stage a play (maybe two!) to be performed for family and friends. The cast will meet virtually each week to read, rehearse and then finally "release" the play to an online audience. Students will take on multiple roles, challenging them to invent a variety of characters, keep focus, and thoughtfully engage with their fellow actors as we explore innovative ways to bring the play to life. If you are craving connection, collaboration, the creative process, and a way to quell cabin fever, this class is for you!
Sundays, 3 to 4 pm (If we have more than 6 students we may extend the time. 10 students max)
7-week session: March 29; April 5, 19, 26; May 3, 10, 17
