Professional Child Actor Class – Winter 2025 – Virtual
For students with representation, working professionally, or with a solid acting foundation and professional aspirations. If you have not been a member of this class before, please contact us to set up a consultation and possible audition with Cynthia Gibb: triplethreatacademyct@gmail.com
Some kids just have it—that spark, that special something; it catches agents' and directors' eyes and can lead to an exciting journey into the world of professional acting. But the cute kid and "it" factor will only carry a career so far; the key to longevity and success is doing the work—building strong acting technique, learning the key questions to ask in developing a character and analyzing a script, making strong choices, and knowing the ins and outs of auditioning—whether in person, on Zoom, or in a self-tape. Students will deepen their craft by working closely with other pro kids, guided by seasoned star and Golden-Globe nominee Cynthia Gibb. Students are welcome to bring audition material (tv/film or theater) to class to work on and this preparation will be prioritized.
In addition to working on craft, Cynthia will mentor students on staying positive (and sane!) through the emotional rollercoaster of acting and auditioning professionally and nurture bonds among the students to create a safe space and strong support system.
