Acting and Improv – 4th thru 6th – Saturdays 12:45 to 1:45 – Winter 2025

Acting and Improv (grades 4 – 6)

This class is all about experiencing the joy of acting and falling in love with the stage! Theatre games and improv will form the basis for exploring the fundamentals of acting, from using the imagination to connecting with scene partners, listening, focusing, and being fully in the moment. Students will explore scene work as this class progresses. Parents are welcome to observe the final class.

Saturdays from 12:45 pm to 1:45 pm
8-week session: Feb 1, 8, 15, 22; March 1, 8, (skip 15 and 22), 29; April 5.
(Note: this class follows more of a private school vacation schedule)
Students tuition includes 2 drop-in classes for either our Tues 5 to 6 pm class (3rd thru 5th) or Tues 6 to 7 pm class (middle school)—just not the final class of the session, as that is parent's observation.

Classes will be held in the choir room on the top floor of Saugatuck Congregational Church, between the Playhouse and downtown Westport: 245 Post Road East, Westport (enter through the back entrance and head up to the top floor).
