The No B.S. Talk on Where You Belong and How to Get There
On Zoom, 7 to 9 pm EST, Monday, August 23
If you are—or have—a high school student interested in applying to college musical theater or acting programs, this talk is for you! Trapper Felides is coming to Triple Threat with his energetic no-nonsense approach to the Musical Theater BFA college audition process (plus some input on BFA in Acting and BA options). It has been a year and a half since the pandemic rocked The Great White Way and the graduating class of 2021 bore that brunt. The world is getting back from Covid (let’s hope!) and this audition season will be the beginning of yet another new paradigm.
Zoom has changed the audition sphere. A few short years ago, social media was to be avoided; now it’s a big part of the package. The industry has changed but the end game remains the same: ya gotta get in. If you’re in high school, no matter what grade, now’s the time to capitalize on the wealth of information that Trapper and his colleagues have put together over the last 20 years.
Join Trapper and a group of graduates, current students, and faculty from the top schools: University of Michigan, Carnegie-Mellon University, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Pace University, Penn State, Boston Conservatory at Berklee and more.
